I became a dietitian as I am passionate about supporting others to become healthier and feel the amazing changes that are possible. I became a health and wellness coach to have more effective tools to promote behaviour change, such as motivational interviewing and appreciative inquiry, which is a strength-based approach to change.
My main areas are in supporting clients with metabolic and hormonal balance, digestive health, emotional eating, weight management, and chronic disease prevention. My work also extends to sports nutrition and plant-based eating for those looking to enhance performance or transition toward a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle.
I have worked as a registered dietitian in both Canada and the U.S., with over 20 years of experience in clinical, wellness, and coaching settings. I currently provide virtual consultations for individuals.
In addition to being a dietitian, I’m a certified Wellness & Health Coach. This allows me to integrate evidence-based nutrition advice with mindful behaviour change strategies. This experience allows me to help clients move past “all-or-nothing” thinking and toward confidence and self-trust around food.
Weight Loss: My approach embraces a Health at Every Size® philosophy, focusing on body positivity and self-acceptance first. I help my clients set realistic goals for weight, body image, and their relationship with food.
Balanced Diet: I happily meet you wherever you are, whether you’re entirely plant-based, pescatarian, or simply curious about adding more colourful produce to your plate.
Sports Nutrition: With years of hands-on experience supporting my son’s competitive soccer, hockey, and basketball teams, I understand the unique needs of athletes, especially young ones. I love helping individuals and teams fuel for performance, recovery, and overall health.
Eating Disorders: Having done extensive continuing education in disordered and emotional eating, ARFID, and other eating challenges, I can offer support to teens and families. My approach focuses on intuitive eating and positive body image.
IBS & Digestive Problems: Digestive concerns and food intolerances can be overwhelming. I work closely with clients to identify potential triggers and craft creative alternatives so you can enjoy food while getting balanced nutrition.
Pregnancy & Lactation: I work to provide evidence-based advice for each stage of pregnancy and lactation. Having worked in a pre-and postnatal community program, I have a lot of helpful experience with gestational diabetes.
Toddler/Child/Adolescent Nutrition: As a mom and member of the Picky Eating Network, I understand the real-life challenges of feeding kids. I provide support to families with fun strategies to help children and teens develop a positive relationship with food.
Intuitive Eating: I am passionate about helping clients break free from diet rules and reconnect with their body’s cues. Through intuitive eating and positive self-talk, I guide my clients toward body acceptance and a lasting, healthy relationship with food, without the scale as the focus.
Perimenopause & Menopause: With years of experience supporting women through midlife transitions, I offer strategies to manage hot flashes, improve sleep, decrease brain fog and boost energy. I can also provide recommendations for supplements or adaptogens when appropriate, helping you feel vibrant through every stage.
Lifestyle Management: Whether it’s improving sleep, managing stress, or increasing physical activity, I help my clients build sustainable routines and personalized meal plans that fit seamlessly into their lives.
