I have always been drawn to the role nutrition plays in health, well-being, and quality of life. Early in my career, I became particularly interested in how nutrition can support individuals during key life stages, such as fertility, pregnancy, and early development, while also promoting long-term health.
Over the years, my work in clinical, community, and public health settings reinforced my belief that nutrition should be empowering, accessible, and grounded in evidence. As my understanding of plant-based nutrition deepened, I saw how a well-planned vegan diet could fully support health at every stage of life. This led me to focus my practice on helping individuals feel confident and informed in their plant-based choices.
My practice is centred on navigating a vegan and plant-based lifestyle, ensuring clients get everything they need while maintaining flexibility and balance.
My main areas of focus include:
Vegan and plant-based nutrition across the lifespan
Fertility and preconception nutrition
Vegan nutrition during pregnancy
Postpartum and breastfeeding nutrition
Vegan infant, child, and adolescent nutrition
Long-term plant-based health and nutritional adequacy
I have over 15 years of experience as a registered dietitian, working in hospital, community, and private practice settings. My background includes extensive work in pediatrics, perinatal nutrition, and public health, as well as collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Throughout my career, I have:
Provided individualized nutrition care in clinical and community settings
Supported individuals through pregnancy, postpartum, and other life transitions
Developed nutrition education tools and workshops
Evaluated and planned nutritionally adequate menus in institutional environments
Contributed to nutrition publications and educational resources
I combine my clinical experience with a client-centred approach. I focus on understanding my clients’ goals, lifestyle and values, and create a plan with them that is both realistic and sustainable. My aim is not perfection, but rather long-term consistency, balance, and well-being.
Weight Loss: My approach focuses on health, nourishment and long-term wellbeing rather than weight alone. I believe nutrition should support both physical and mental well-being without guilt or rigid rules.
Balanced Diet: Whether you are fully vegan or transitioning to a more plant-based diet, I can help you feel confident that each meal is balanced, complete, and sustainable.
Sports Nutrition: I regularly support active individuals and adolescents who follow a plant-based diet. I can make sure you are getting adequate energy, protein, and micronutrients to support physical activity, recovery, and overall health.
Eating Disorders: My experience working with disordered eating patterns and complex relationships with food has allowed me to help clients rebuild trust while avoiding rigid rules and moralization around eating.
IBS & Digestive Problems: I work closely with clients to identify possible triggers, support digestive comfort, and find plant-based alternatives that help them meet their needs while keeping mealtime enjoyable.
Pregnancy & Lactation: I have extensive experience helping clients through pregnancy and breastfeeding, including through pre- and postnatal community programs. I provide support for concerns such as nausea, gestational diabetes, energy levels, and recovery.
Toddler/Child/Adolescent Nutrition: A large part of my background is in pediatric nutrition. I have helped many families by focusing on practical, realistic strategies that promote a positive relationship with food while ensuring they get all the proper nutrients to support growth.
Intuitive Eating: I focus on internal cues, balance, and self-trust to help clients develop a sustainable, plant-based way of eating that supports their physical and mental well-being.
Perimenopause & Menopause: My approach focuses on overall nutrition adequacy, energy balance, bone health, and long-term well-being within a plant-based framework to help support my clients through midlife transitions.
