I have always enjoyed being in the kitchen since I was young, so it seemed a natural fit for me to become a nutritionists (once I learned what it was). To me, it’s the best blend of science, cooking, and psychology, with new things to learn every single week!
I was introduced to plant-based eating at my University, but only was convinced of its power over disease when I was staying with missionaries in Africa! Ever since that point, I felt it was imperative that I teach people about the healthiest diet on the planet, and not something more “moderate”.
Plant-based diets are not only powerful over diseases and symptoms of irreversible conditions, but they are the most sustainable diet on this planet, and therefore the most kind to the millions of people living with not enough food each day. I have also realized the horrors of animal agriculture and do my best to avoid contributing to animal suffering.
I maintain a flexible eating pattern because I was taught that accepting food prepared by others is one way that we can show and accept love and participate in other cultures. I maintain a vegan diet at home, but remain flexible in cultural or social settings.Book a Free Discovery Call or Initial Assessment
