Certainly, insurance receipts are typically given for the services offered by dietitians and nutritionists in Burnaby, BC. These receipts feature the registration number assigned by the College of Dietitians of British Columbia.
No, we exclusively provide nutrition services through registered dietitians or nutritionists and can only provide insurance receipts for these services.
Unlike dentists, our insurance process is much simpler in nutrition consultations with dietitians since there are no specific procedure codes. This is why we have decided not to do direct billing; instead, at the end of every session, your insurance receipt will automatically appear in your portal, and you will be able to send it directly to your insurance. This allows us to spend more time focusing on the quality of our service rather than on simple administrative tasks.
The number of sessions you require will be based on your specific goals and current circumstances. On average, we suggest a minimum of 5 annual appointments with our clients. Nevertheless, the exact number of sessions can vary significantly from client to client. Some clients may find a few meetings enough to make long-lasting changes. Others may benefit from weekly sessions that are extended over a longer period. To establish a individualized plan that fits your particular needs, we advise setting up a discovery call.
