Indeed, insurance receipts are offered upon requests for the services rendered by our dietitians and nutritionists in Surrey, BC. On these receipts you will be able to find the registration number issued by the College of Dietitians of British Columbia.
No, our nutrition services are provided exclusively by registered dietitians or nutritionists, and we can only give you insurance receipts for these.
In contrast to the lengthy insurance procedures typically seen in dental care, our system for nutrition consultations with dietitians is easier and more straightforward. Therefore, we’ve chosen not to employ direct billing. However, after each session, your insurance receipt will immediately appear on your online portal with us, permitting you to transmit it directly to your insurance company. This business-oriented strategic choice allows us to prioritize the service we provide, rather than becoming overwhelmed with routine administrative responsibilities.
The number of sessions needed will be determined based on your individual goals and current situation. As a general guideline, we recommend a minimum of 5 visits per year. That being said, we have clients who come for a few sessions only and are satisfied with the service given. However, we also have clients who require more regular sessions for an extended timeframe. We can help you determine the amount of sessions you need in a discovery call with us or during your first consult with one of our registered dietitians.
