Yes, insurance receipts are typically provided for services offered by dietitians and nutritionists in Victoria, BC. Our receipts include the number issues by the College of Dietitians of British Colombia.
No, we offer nutrition services by registered dietitians or nutritionists and can only provide insurance receipts for these services.
Insurance for nutrition consultations with dietitians differs significantly from the complicated processes you see with dental care. This is why we don’t do direct billing. Instead, after each session, your insurance receipt will automatically show up on your portal with us, enabling you to easily send it directly to your insurance provider. This allows us to prioritize our time towards providing excellent service, instead of spending time on administrative tasks, such as direct billing.
How many sessions you need will depend on your individual goals and current situation. On average, we see our clients at least 5 times a year. However, the exact number of sessions needed varies; some clients may require just a few meetings, while others may benefit from weekly sessions extended over a more extended period. To determine a personalized approach that aligns with your specific needs, we recommend scheduling a discovery call for a more in-depth discussion and assessment.
