No matter your taste preferences, Three Carrots’ food is sure to delight everyone. Everything at Three Carrots is made from scratch, including their seitan, which is prominently featured on the menu. One of the city’s newer eateries, established three years ago, has quickly earned praise from both vegans and non-vegans alike for its outstanding food. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner on weekdays, and on Saturdays, it’s open exclusively for brunch. Their menus are regularly updated on Facebook.
Public Greens is situated on Indy’s renowned Monon Trail, a 25-mile paved path popular with cyclists, runners, and walkers. The restaurant boasts a fantastic patio where you can relax with your dog and enjoy the activity, perhaps while sipping a locally brewed kombucha or draft beer. Public Greens also runs an urban micro farm, supplying produce, herbs, and edible flowers for its plant-forward menu. While not exclusively vegan, the restaurant offers several vegan options that change with the seasons.
VegFest is dedicated to offering free admission in hopes to educate the public on the compassionate, environmental, and health benefits of a vegan lifestyle. Besides the large annual event, they organize year-round educational activities, including free plant-based cooking classes led by chefs from the Indy area.
In Indiana, we are recognized as registered dietitians and nutritionists. These protected titles can be used interchangeably within the state.
Absolutely! We are registered members of the dietitian Medical Licensing Board of Indiana. Rest assured, you will receive an insurance receipt as licensed dietitians and nutritionists following each consultation.
Currently, we provide only online consultations via Zoom. This approach allows us to reach a wider audience, as our plant-based clientele is relatively small. Our goal is to assist as many individuals as possible throughout Indiana with plant-based nutrition.
We will provide insurance receipts at the end of each session.
We apologize, but we can only issue insurance receipts for services provided by registered dietitians or nutritionists within the state of Indiana.
We do not currently offer direct billing at this time.
The frequency of appointments will be tailored to your goals and current situation. Typically, we meet with clients at least five times a year. The number of sessions required varies; some clients may need just a few meetings, while others could benefit from weekly sessions over a longer period. We recommend scheduling a discovery call to gain a detailed understanding and develop the most effective plan for your specific needs.
Typically, we can begin working with you within a week.
