Yes, Ashley is our Texas-licensed plant-based registered dietitian and nutritionist.
Dietitian:
Dietitians, requiring a college degree and special training, must pass a comprehensive test from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and engage in ongoing learning to maintain their “Registered Dietitian” (RD) or “Registered Dietitian Nutritionist” (RDN) title.
Nutritionist:
The term “nutritionist” is less strict, and individual with varied educational backgrounds may use the title. In some locations, it is available to anyone regardless of their educational or professional training.
Note: Our plant-based online consultation team members are all federally accredited registered dietitians, meeting stringent educational and CDR exam standards.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but at the moment, we’re limited to offering our consultations online, and exclusively through Zoom.
This choice is based on the fact that our clients who are in pursuit of plant-based advice constitute a minor segment. Our objective is to broaden our support to a more diverse group of people throughout Texas, with a focus on plant-based nutrition.
Ashley can issue “superbills” as a licensed Texas registered dietitian and nutritionist.
However, we do not offer direct billing, so please do verify with your insurance providers whether her services are covered. If you would like additional information, please don’t hesitate to Contact Us here.

A vegan doctor can prescribe medications, order blood work, and address severe vitamin deficiencies with high-dose supplements like B12, vitamin D, and iron.
Conversely, a vegan nutritionist focuses on modifying your diet and eating habits to prevent deficiencies and manage chronic diseases.
They ensure your nutritional needs, such as iodine, omega-3, calcium, magnesium, and zinc, are met through dietary adjustments and provide practical advice based on your eating patterns
For guidance on modifying your plant-based diet, plant-based nutritionists and dietitians are your go-to experts.
If you need a medical diagnosis, blood work, or a prescription, consult with plant-based doctors.
Yes, we believe plant-based telehealth is as effective as seeing a plant-based nutritionist in an office!
Plant-Based Dietitians Ltd works exclusively online because it allows individuals to save transport time, and it also allows the client to be at home and show valuable information (for example: foods, supplements, dishware, and more) that impact your food habits.
Additionally, many of our clients appreciate that they can do their online consultations with their plant-based nutritionist at work.
